10.      Ask Jesus to help me, Chris, and Chrissy to improve our personal walk and talk with Him and practice His presence.

11.      Pray for enemies. After praying for enemies say the following prayer. Thank you, Father, for helping us grow in loving you with our whole heart, our whole soul, our whole mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

12.   The Lord’s Prayer.

D. Troubled nightly prayers (when waking up in the middle of the night).

              1.      Tenth Step Axiom Prayer:  “Father, I ask you in Jesus’ name please help me know in my heart that you are here, that you are in charge of all things, that you love me very, very much, and that there is nothing to worry about.  Please help me love and trust you.  Please help me feel your love for me.  Please increase my faith.”

              2.      Yahweh Prayer:  “Jesus, you are the son of God, you are one with God. You are God.  You are Yahweh, the Author of Life.  Through you all things were made.  That includes me, Chris, and Chrissy.  That includes our guardian angels (Elisha, Simon, and Samuel).  That includes the angels that turned their back on you and became evil spirits, demons and devils.”  The prayer goes on, “Please help our guardian angels drive all evil spirits, demons and devils out of me, out of Chris, out of Chrissy, out of us. Please drive all evil spirits, demons and devils out of LT, out of the house, off of the property, out of the neighborhood.”

              3.      Mind Emptying Prayer (from The Power of Positive thinking, Norman Vincent Peale):  “Jesus, please help me empty my mind of all fear, all anxiety, all insecurity.”  I picture Jesus and myself pushing a pushcart (like push carts seen in mines), which is loaded with a murky, wet filth, filled with large indescribably, ugly objects.  As Jesus lifts our end up to dump the cart, I am praying, “Please, Jesus, help me empty my mind of all fear, all anxiety, and all insecurity.”  As Jesus is rinsing the inside of the cart with a pressurized hose, I am saying, “Please, Jesus, help me empty my mind of all fear, all anxiety, all insecurity.”  I then picture Jesus filling the cart with a beautiful clear blue liquid and I pray, “Jesus is now filling my mind with tranquility, serenity, peace of mind, and calm assurance.” Again I picture Jesus filling the cart with the beautiful clear blue liquid at a higher level, and I pray, “Jesus is now filling my mind with tranquility, serenity, peace of mind, and calm assurance.” I usually fall asleep by this time.
